French Onion Soup
Just can't get enough of the classics? Then serve this French Onion Soup and let your taste buds bath in comfort.
|1/4||cup||MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED|
|6||pc||onions, sliced thinly|
|iodized fine salt to taste|
|pepper to taste|
|3||tbsp||MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER UNSALTED, softened|
|3/4||cup||grated MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE|
|1||pc||French bread, sliced|
- Melt butter in a saucepan. Sauté onions, stirring occasionally until tender and golden. Add broth and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add brandy and parsley.
- Serve in bowls with 1 to 2 cheese toasts.
- Toast bread slices. Set aside. In a bowl, mix together butter and grated cheese until blended. Spread generously over toasted bread.
