French Onion Soup
Just can't get enough of the classics? Then serve this French Onion Soup and let your taste buds bath in comfort.
|1⁄4||cup||MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER|
|6||pcs||Onions, sliced thinly|
|Salt to taste|
|Pepper to taste|
|3||tbsp||MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER, softened|
|3⁄4||cup||MAGNOLIA QUICKMELT CHEESE, grated|
|French bread, sliced|
Melt butter in a saucepan. Sauté onions in butter, stirring occasionally until onions are tender and golden. Add broth and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Season soup with salt and pepper. Add brandy and parsley.To prepare cheese:
Toast bread slices. Set aside. In a bowl, mix together butter and grated cheese until blended. Spread generously over toasted bread.
To serve soup:
Put 1 to 2 cheese toasts on soup bowl and add hot soup. Serve while hot.
