With Christmas just around the corner, San Miguel My Great Food Club recently held “Holiday Feasts, Food Gifts and Chef’s tips” a Culinary Symphony at the Podium mall. Coupled with beautiful music, the event featured a gathering of celebrity chefs who took part in demonstrating their favorite recipes perfect for this joyous occasion.
A lighter alternative to main meals, Chef-couple Rob and Sunshine Pengson prepared quick and unpretentious tapas (small plates) of Magnolia Queso de Bola and Purefoods Fiesta ham.
Chef Reggie Aspiras on the other hand, prepared delectable treats with Purefoods Corned Beef and Fiesta Ham. Meanwhile, Sylvia, Morella and Ernest Gala prepared a selection of Noche Buena dishes – Chicken Galantina and Roast Porkloin. In between recipes, guests were serenaded by Concertino with their melodious rendition of Christmas classics.
Children also took part during the event as they practiced their art skills with Anvil and Bestseller’s kiddie corner.
Co-sponsored by The Podium Mall, this event proved to be one of the grandest from the San Miguel My Great Food Club as guests had the opportunity to try and savor Purefoods ham products, the new San Mig Pro-Health line, Magnolia Cheese Ball samples and GSMI Mobile Bar drinks throughout the event. Great prizes were also given to lucky raffle stub owners as they got a chance to bring home what the chefs made themselves plus other gift packs from the sponsors.
