	San Miguel Corporation and GMA Network Inc. joined forces, bringing to the public the one-of-a-kind cooking show, “Mobile Kusina.” Airing every Friday, 10:00am to 10:30am on GMA 7, the show features the first ever “roving kitchen” – a state-of-the-art 32 footer convertible kitchen inside a 14-wheeler van – that will tour around the various provinces. The Mobile Kusina will feature three different dishes every week: a traditional dish, a local recipe with a twist and a local recipe unique to that province itself. The show will also feature different showbiz personalities who hail from the province as special guests.

One, Two Kusineras For Season 6!

Last July 21, your favorite cooking show has just entered another milestone this year as it airs its first Season 6 Episode. And as a treat, Mobile Kusina is showcasing not one but two Mobile Kusineras to serve as your cooking guide every Friday morning.

Let Christine Jacob Sandejas and Donita Rose, both doting moms, entertain and educate you with everything you need to know about cooking and having a successful family life.

Christine Jacob Sandejas, a family oriented woman has been married for seven years and is the mother of four children. Her seriousness in providing a good future for her children despite the economic situation brings out the “tough” mom in her.

Donita Rose, on the other hand, is a first-time-mom and has been married for three years. Her fresh yet responsible approach to married life and motherhood makes her an ideal mom, especially to viewers who are first-time-mom like her.

MOBILE KUSINA GOES MALLING IN A NATIONWIDE BLITZ -- True to its concept of going where the people are, the country?s famous kitchen-on-wheels, Mobile Kusina, visited malls in seven cities across the country in a rare culinary blitz. From February to November 2006, top regional chefs ?steered? Mobile Kusina, using products of San Miguel Pure Foods Corporation. Shoppers from Northern to Southern Philippines enjoyed an afternoon of live cooking demonstration and a lecture on practical cooking. The vision of the program was to introduce easy and delicious recipes for everyday meals, as edible gifts or business opportunities for caterers, owners of food kiosks or carts, or food item suppliers, in anticipation of the holiday season. Mobile Kusina at the Mall was sponsored by Monterey Meatshops, Dari Creme, Magnolia Quickmelt Cheese, Magnolia Chicken Stations, Magnolia Nutri-Oil, Magnolia Pancake Plus, Purefoods Fiesta Ham, Purefoods Supremo Cane Vinegar, E-Aji, San Mig Coffee, San Mig Cafe and San Mig Foodshop. After a successful run touring malls across the country, Mobile Kusina caps its fun and exciting journey with foremost culinary specialist Ms. Sylvia Reynoso-Gala and her son Chef Ernest Reynoso Gala with Mobile Kusinera host Christine Jacob-Sandejas at the last leg of Mobile Kusina last November 25, 2006 in SM Megamall. With Christmas just around the corner, everyone learned new recipes to make for Noche Buena.
